i2 Celebrates Queen’s Awards Success
Cambridge, UK, 16 July 2010:
Today, Hugh Duberly Esq CBE, Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire presented i2 with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation Category 2010. The award was in recognition of the support that the company’s Intelligence-Led Operations Platform provides for every phase of operations in the prevention of crime and terrorism.
The Lord-Lieutenant made the presentation at i2’s headquarters at Fulbourn, Cambridge and during his visit met the company’s senior managers and staff as part of a guided tour of the company’s UK offices.
“This is a well-deserved tribute to the tremendous efforts of our staff,” confirmed CEO, Robert Griffin, who received the Award on behalf of i2. “It also reflects the continuing loyalty of major clients over many years who have played a highly-valued role in the development of our market-leading solutions.”
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are among the UK’s most prestigious awards for business performance. The Innovation Award in particular recognises those organisations demonstrating substantial and sustained improvement in business performance and commercial success as a result of outstanding innovation in products or services.
