COPLINK® team has extensive expertise in both knowledge
management and law enforcement. Our executive team
represents 40 years of technical excellence and business
savvy. Our engineering staff includes knowledge
management experts from both the public and private
sectors. Our law enforcement consultants have over 150
years of combined experience at federal, state, and
local levels. The COPLINK® team understands how to use
cutting edge technologies to solve crimes FASTER!
Original COPLINK® prototypes were jointly developed by
the Artificial Intelligence Lab at the University of
Arizona and Tucson Police Department with funds from an
NIJ Grant. Headed by Hsinchun Chen, Ph.D., the Lab is
internationally known for research in the areas of
digital libraries, intelligent data retrieval,
collaborative computing, and knowledge management.*
Consistent with the NIJ mandate to make new technologies
available to community law enforcement nationwide, Dr.
Chen established Knowledge Computing Corporation to
bring COPLINK® to market.
The mission of the COPLINK® team is to help you
consolidate, share, and identify relationships within
the most valuable source of criminal information you
have - your online criminal records.
